Pick up your 4WD from 91 Basalt Street, Geebung. We run through the vehicle, gear, tyre pressures and sand driving basics.
Drive to the Port of Brisbane and board the MICAT vehicle ferry. The crossing to Moreton Island takes around 90 minutes.
Drive to your campsite, set up the rooftop tent and explore beaches, inland tracks, lagoons, lookouts and the Tangalooma Wrecks.
For just $120, you can collect your 4WD the evening before your trip. Take it home, pack at your own pace and leave early for the first MICAT ferry. This is especially useful for Moreton Island camping trips with extra supplies.
