New to sand driving? No problem. The Jimny is one of the easiest 4WDs to drive, and the LandCruiser is equally accessible with our briefing. Our team walks you through everything before you head off — tyre pressures, sand technique, creek crossings and what to watch out for. First-timers are very welcome.

Vehicles are collected directly from our office at Kingfisher Bay Resort on the island. No ferry transfers required — if you're already staying at the resort, you're ready to go.
1 day and multi-day hire are both available. Ideal for short stays or last-minute bookings. Simple, flexible and easy to organise around your resort schedule.
Jimny: maximum 2 people. LandCruiser: up to 7 people, no minimum. Choose based on your group — both vehicles are fully equipped for the island.
All drivers must hold a valid licence. Minimum driver age is 21 years. A physical card is required for the security bond pre-authorisation.
A refundable $5,000 pre-authorisation is required at vehicle collection. Held on your card and fully released after the vehicle is returned and checked.
Fuel is not included — refill the vehicle before returning. An underbody wash is required after beach and creek driving. Return keys to the Kingfisher office.
We also offer pickup from Brisbane (Geebung) and Hervey Bay — both include return ferry transfers and all the same great vehicles.
