The Longest Day Away is the same product regardless of which vehicle you choose. The difference is simply the size of your group. Choose the Suzuki Jimny for couples and pairs, or the Toyota LandCruiser for families and larger groups of up to 7.
Not sure which to choose? If you're a couple or two people, the Jimny is your vehicle. Three or more people — go with the LandCruiser. Both give you the full K'Gari experience.
From River Heads
to K'Gari and back.
The same day structure applies for both vehicle types — Jimny or LandCruiser. Your itinerary on the island is based on tide times and will be provided at your safety briefing.

Vehicles are collected at our Kingfisher Bay office on the island — a 5–10 minute walk from the ferry terminal. Office opens at 8:00am.
Vehicles must be returned by approximately 4:00pm. Refuel and complete underbody wash before return. Default return ferry is 5:00pm. Driving at night is not permitted.
All drivers must hold a valid licence. Minimum driver age is 21 years. A physical card is required for the security bond pre-authorisation.
A refundable $5,000 pre-authorisation is required at vehicle collection on the island. Held on your card and released after the vehicle is returned and checked.
Fuel and food are not included. Refill the vehicle before returning it. Bring food and water for the day. Underbody wash required before vehicle return.
